Hey team,

We're less than a month away from departure day, just a few reminders to get your planning juices flowing:

• Please fax/email your volunteer package to Project medishare ASAP if you have not already done so.
• You should have purchased your Miami round-trip flight and booked hotel rooms for Sept 17th & 25th already.
• ensure you have your Rx for malarone (antimalarials) as you need to start taking them 3 days before you enter the country.
• try to pack 'light' and make room for donations of clothes, toys, books, etc from either your own friends and family, and/or from team members from the first CVH mission (they would like to send some things along with us)...this is a mission with the intent to make a difference in the lives of Haitians...we can do so with goodwill and donations, and not with hair dryers and bunny slippers ;)
• ensure you bring your 'PPE' ...N95 masks if your own size/comfort is important to you (they do have some there though), protective eyewear, mosquito netting and repellant, etc.
• water bottle, fannypack for passport, licence copies, money and cellphones/PDAs., flashlight, etc. 
• hygiene items like flip flops for shower (prevent fungal infections & warts- no one needs that kind of souvenir :) , baby wipes, towel, toiletries.
• clinical items: stethoscope, clinical pocket guides, pens, penlights, scissors...

Both Dr. Kumar and Elaine P (RN) from the first mission have offered to answer any questions we might have - don't be shy :)
